Chattahoochee has 18 acres of beautiful forest and wetlands that are open for exploration year-round! Chattahoochee offers many opportunities each week for families to get out together and explore their natural world. They offer hands-on learning experiences like animal encounters, hikes through forests or along creeks, wagon rides around the grounds, crafts using found objects from Chattahoochee’s trailside, music-making workshops with percussion instruments made from trees collected on-site; bird watching tours; as well as other seasonal activities throughout the year for families and children.
